The Practice is following the advice of the major governing bodies to ensure that we are up-to-date with all the new guidance that has been issued.

MASK FIT TESTING

FIT TESTING SESSION - TUESDAY 30 JUNE

9AM - 1PM

The fit testing will take place on Tuesday 30 June 2020 at the Practice

You will need to be at the Practice for 8:50am:

Do not wear any foundation as this may effect the seal of the mask
Leave all non essential items in your car or at home
Enter the building through the back door
Please come wearing your own personal face covering. If you don't have one there will be a box of surgical masks as you enter the building
Clean your hands using alcohol gel rub

The training session will be broken in to THREE parts:

PART ONE - 30 mins
Brief rundown of procedures given to the group from the Fit Tester

PART TWO - Fit testing sessions last approx 15 mins
This will be done in a group of two people, each group will need to be tested twice as, you will be fit tested for two different types of mask.

1. Stealth (reusable) respirator mask
2. 3M FFP2 (disposable) mask - sessional use

It is essential that you avoid anything to eat or drink, no tea/coffee, mints, chewing gum, smoking, vaping or brushing your teeth for 30 mins before your first test and in-between tests. Please bring a bottle of water with you.

PART THREE - Between Fit Testing sessions
An opportunity to ask questions about new procedures and protocols in preparation for reopening the Practice.

RESPIRATOR MASK SIZE

As part of the new protocols you MAY be required to wear a respirator mask. In order to ensure we have the right sizes available please provide the following measurement in mm.
